Mitosis comprises the Mitosis L1 Ecosystem and Mitosis Vaults across multiple networks. It manages liquidity from different networks, termed Ecosystem-Owned-Liquidity (EOL), allowing participants to influence liquidity allocation decisions. The Mitosis Liquidity Protocol ensures scalability in capital efficiency by catering to a broad range of cross-chain DeFi demands as liquidity grows. Its architecture relies on two key components: miAssets and the Mitosis Ecosystem.When users deposit assets into the protocol, they receive corresponding miAssets at a 1:1 ratio (e.g., deposit eETH, receive meETH). These miAssets can be used in various DeFi activities, including depositing them into protocols within the Mitosis Ecosystem. As a DeFi protocol accumulates enough miAssets, it facilitates the corresponding cross-chain action. This mechanism forms a flywheel effect, enhancing the protocol's efficiency and scalability over time.
